About
Like two fallen soldiers and the aftermath of some macarbre battle these remnant trees seem to be seeping blood into the still waters of the loch. Not true of course but my imagination does run riot occasionally. The incredible colour of the water is actually due to the very high tannin content of the loch which fills up on peat filtered water further up the hills.
There are so many places to lock in this photo and there are so many things to see. The colors are good and the abstraction in fantastic. Thank you so much for posting this photo.
Wonderful rich colour and texture Ian - great composition. We have similar "coke coloured " water in our area which gives rise to very interesting photo opportunities. Very well seen and taken (love these Pentax 67 shots!). Joggie
