Location	City - Sisteron State - PROVENCE Country - France
About	Location: Sisteron, Provence, France. On the outskirts of the town of Sisteron is a small road that meanders its way into farmland and thence onto the mountains. This I was reliably informed where I would find some local lavender fields. I saw a few but most were quite scrubby and sparse but then this beauty with a clear blue sky and a mountain back drop talk about the jewel in a crown. It was one of the most immaculate I was to see. Amazing landscape, except that the photo is very good about its quality, clarity and especialy clarity at any distance (wized use of f/22 on that) it has powerfull colors Ian and that is great, even the forest at the mountain has strong green, PSing, or filters on the lens I don't mind, the result is that we critique here and the result is wonderfull...and of course original that field of purple flowers.
