Love this Dave... Great silhouette, lovely depth and colours are beautiful...
Sadly, we don't see many windmills these days... Parents used to keep we noisy kids busy when we travelled with 'See how many you can count' ~~GRIN~~... and every western movie seemed to have a windmill swinging wildly in the storm... Of course this meant someone had to climb into danger and secure it... ~~GRIN~~ a few survived...

Thank you, Michele. A lot of work went into this. I actually had to stop the truck, actually get out of the truck, actually had to carry my camera and haul my fat butt up an incline, actually had to stand next to barbed wire and take several shots that included many different compositions.
Then I had to climb down the embankment, get back in the truck and explain to D why he couldn't get out on the highway while I shot.
Then I had to download the pictures and the most difficult, actually choose which photo was the best.
But it was all worth it for a fine comment like yours!

Absolutely great image, ok, the sunset is amazing but you DON'T stop there, lot of sunsets BUT with that unique air mill??? Not many, and that excactly is the great point here, bothly looks great to me Dave.
