The fair in Malaga is in full swing now and the main street,Calle Larios,is full of entertainers of one sort or another;in this case, a couple dancing tangos.
Thanks for commenting AJ.I'm glad you like it ,the time I spent shooting this scene was certainly a lot of fun and I'll be posting a few more which I was working on today,I'm not sure which one I like best! I see what you mean about having a bit more space to her left but I imagine I was trying to avoid something distracting in the background. As for her struggling to keep her head above water,Noooo!!I don't get that, more a feeling of her poise and beauty.Including more of them below their arms, maybe, although including more might reduce the intensity of the shot..more is less and all that! Anyway, interesting comments which I do,of course, appreciate. Have a good weekend, Tony
You've captured a perfect moment here, with the couple staring directly into each others eyes. But what I particularly like is the limited tones - just red and brown (with the tone of the dancers' skin echoed in the wall behind).
This is a really impressive shot in my opinion, Tony, and I've sat looking at it for quite some time now. So I'm going to feel really mean with what comes next, and I'm still not sure if I'm right, but here goes anyway... To be absolutely perfect I would like the image to continue further at the bottom (and perhaps to the left), so that a little more space was given to the woman. As it is, I feel she's struggling to keep her head above water. Hope you don't mind my honest opinion (but I guess you're used to this by now...) The fact remains that this is a superb shot.
