This is a photo I took on 4th May 2003 at Ulley Reservoir, which is found in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, England. It was a very sunny day, and I was particuarly keen to capture the sky - it was bright blue, with big white fluffy clouds. I also managed to include some ducks too, which I personally like. The only changes I've made in Photoshop are to slightly adjust the Levels, and Hue/Saturation.
Have you taken any pictures at Ulley Reservoir yourself, being so close? I walk around there every month or so, it's a nice walk - except for the bit where you have to walk on a single lane road that has no footpath! )
I'm glad your home monitor needs adjusting, as I couldn't figure out what was wrong with my clouds! Though someone thought they looked a bit purple?
Can you recommend any other places to visit around Rotherham / Sheffield? If you have any good recommendations, please email them to me here: ste@sm9.co.uk. I was trying to figure out a way to email you about this a few weeks ago (as you can do in Photosig), but I couldn't find any details for you on Usefilm.
Hi Steven, Ulley Res, just down the road from me, literally ! You have done a good jobe of capturing the clouds here, maybe a PS layer with a mid grey to trans gradient, with a layer trans of 20% would give the clouds some more definition. Regards Keith
