Good use of motion here. I like the little blips of light here and there. Those must be the invaders to which you refer?

Thanks, John. I don't remember exactly what I did here but obvoiusly panning across the city lights while moving the camera slightly up and down. I may have started to go back across in the pan before the shutter closed.

Thanks, Shirley. Maybe that is why I posted the first one first, because I knew it was the better of the shoot... or, you're just siding with Michele. One or the other.

Interesting abstract Dave, the lines and some spots ...hmmmm...how many times do you change the direction of your camera? Really impressive these soooo many lines, there must be lots of lights for JUST 2.5sec long exposure, very good.

I agree about the 'invading alien army' bit, but also like Doyle's idea about music. I'm with Michele, though...the first was the best, so far.:)

Well you goofy lady! This is a hard call. Was I goofing off when I shot these? Yes, I could say that. But I was seriously goofing off. I was intentionally trying to play with the lights, using various techniques of zooming and panning while the shutter was open.
So was I goofing off? No, I could say that, too. Since I was really trying to come up with something unique.
Oh, my brain hurts. LOL
