Immensely effective shot. Love that low DOF effect on the rock. Rough and Smooth. B&W is a good choice, colour distractions are gone so that we can concentrate on you wanted to show. Oh...this is really wonderful John. I keep on looking at it for a long time. How it proves that simple photos are the photos that attract most! 7/7

I like the dof here and the diagonal composition! Nice sharp details at the bottom left area with the rest blurred to give a nice abstract! Creatively done!
