I did this photograph as part of a school photography project, to capture colours during winter. I loved the peeling paint on this weatherboard house (which has since been renovated).

I agree that the light is a bit strong in this image, but I think I can be blamed, as I did a slight tweak with the contrast in photoshop, and it was a very early attempt at using PS. Since then, I've tended to use PS as little as possible, trying to keep true to the original, as that way I learn to take better photos, as they remind me.
