OOO! I really really love this shot! The lighting adds amazing things to this photo... especially the golden halo around the baby lamb! Precious photo, great title too! Fun, perfect, adorable, and skilled shot! Good eye, nice work! :)

Graet example of backlighting technique and lovely rich colour. I agree with the comments re cropping the top but I like the foreground as the darkness adds contrast to the image.

Thanks for calling my image "marvellous", Miguel. Patagonia seems like the most intriguing part of the world, it's allways been on my wish-to-see list. I agree, your crop of my image is great. Regards from East Griqualand, South Africa.

Thanks, Stef - appreciate your honesty. I left the foreground because it (and, in fact the trees in the background) lends a sense of space to the scene, emphasizing the plight of the lamb. Regards

More dramatic?

Hi Lydia,

Lovely shot. Your lighting is spot-on. Perhaps a tighter crop on the top and bottom would have worked even better(Robin had me thinking here).Say just above the haystack and just below the feet of the lamb. Dont want to sound over critical, as this is a magnificent shot. Very well Done!!!

Groete,
Stef

Hi Lydia,

Great shot, light and atmosphere!
Perhaps a crop more on the lamb would make it more dramatic?

Thanks,
Robin
