About This photograph (5339) was shot at a bar on lower Queen Anne on 23 February 2007.

I have interposed a glass tumbler between my lens and the subject lights. This is not a luxagraphic shot, but neither has there been any PS or post-production work on it. What you see is the result of using soft-focus on the resulting reflections/refractions in the bottom of the glass.

Thanks for stopping by.

I'll be doing a presentation of my luxagraphic work over at the Henry Art Gallery (UW--Seattle) on 29 May (Tuesday) at 6pm. There will be a 15 minute lecture and a question and answer period. I will project my work onto a large viewing screen at full resolution so this is a good opportunity to see my work large and in full regalia.
