Thanks, Michele. This shot was taken late afternoon and the angle of view puts a forest in the background with no sun light in it. The hammock is on the tree line so it still is illuminated by the sun. The background dropped out with the contrast as it is and the fact that it was exposed for the brighter portion of the picture.

Nice mood, and colors .... also like the BG and kind of wonder if he was chopping the tree at night ..or close to dark or if this was your doings (?) the dark BG ?? I am glad You posted it too Jan- I like it :))

This reminds me of a huge statue that's in the noth of England, it's called Angel Of The North and is a figure with outstretched wings....much the same as this. :))
