I guess you get inspiration for your amznig abstrats from deep inside your DNA, But I find you images even more powerful when they include earthlings parts like on this image.
Your experimenting attitude brings us happy new discoveries. I respect this very much. Keep digging. Hope mothership be very delayed ;-)

I do feel as though I have to post a certain number of more traditional shots or folks will think of my as only being able to shoot the oddities.

When I first looked at this, I thought it was someone's "knees." However, upon closer examination it's NOT!  What a surprise! LOL!
Great shot. Your abstract work is amazing but I greatly enjoy your more traditional work as well.

Yes, I see what you mean. It can also get boring for other people to look at only abstracts all the time. I also got carried away for a short while and still plan on finding more lightsources to play with, but it´s more appealing to the viewers with a blend like you said.
