What is your next photo project? Any ideas? I want to get out this summer and take more pictures of people - not so easy in the UK as people can be suspecious. Plan to go to a part thsi weekend with a friend and play around with pictures of plant and flowers.

People support them by giving them a some money or feeding them. They wander around with tins. In Cairo we came across a small boy sleeping by a busy road at night. I gave Anna (my partner) £10 to give to him - I thought she wouldn't scare him. He woke up with a start took the money with amazement and said something grateful in arabic. Made me feel very sad that he was alone in such a bit city.

I agree, especially when there is some much wealth.

People support these children - they don't go hungry but the pschological effect must be bad.

They are sent to the school with no money for food or shelter. The islamic school offers free education - a way out of poverty but the boys are left to support themselves.
