About
This may not appeal to many but I'd like to hear others thoughts. It's a picture of the water in a river pushed upstream in front of a rock at the edge of the rapids. The water is very calm in that spot just before the rapids. You can see a little of the river bottom. I just liked the velvet look of the water surface, simple lines and abstract nature. The spring run off water was very brown and the sky very blue. Shot at about a 30 foot distance hand held with a long lens (360mm,f6.7,1/640), no PP other than slight crop.
Very interesting, Peter, I really like the tone and the shiny surface. I can see something more in this picture, the horizon, maybe clouds on a unknown and distant land. Bravo! Guido
