Great shot and very interesting you posted the original one.
I think you did a very good job also in post production, giving a magic light, but without create an "improbable" ambient by Capture NX.
I also have a nice volcano: just come to have a look ;-)

thanks for your comment Lydia, I shot this picture in Nikon NEF format and adjusted the colors with Capture NX. Most of the adjustments were to increase the overall brightness and selectivley add saturation to the sky and contrast and sharpening to the mountain. ill include a copy of the original as well.

Lovely picture - the colours seem very natural, so you must have an excellent memory. Wish I could see the original, to see why you needed to adjust it. Which quality do you shoot in?

Wow super shot! looks like a keeper for sure! My son walked to the top 7 months ago....man looked like a wicked walk!! To bad it was cloudy when he got to the top...along with thousands of other people....get in line!
