ZAWW!!!! Perfect...Be.A.Utiful, that is great as you get two great old planes and with the smoke effect that gives the idea of an after fight moment, really amazing image and the sky - clouds - smoke also 'writen' perfectly on the camera's sensor. Absolutely perfect, bravo peta, excellent photo.

Great shot, Peta, those textured clouds blend perfectly in the overall scene, especially with the red plane. Very cool photo, kids love it...me to :)

The most interesting of this capture (IMO)is the angle , as of you where in formation with them. am not sure about the condition, but if the propellers has the movement effect will be more attractive, though great job

G'Day Peta.. just wondering if you would let me use your sp in a Powerpoint I am doing the local cmaera club on Self Portraits as we have it as a subject coming up soon and I was was surfing around looking up SP's looking for some different interpretations of how people see themselves (eg Liz Wallis has a giraffe and Jim Loys current one is a beauty...and I thought about using some of the other ones from UF..

damned shame the smoke from the lead aircraft partially obscures that of the second.. maybe alteration to viewpoint might help..but then given the constraints on photographers at these kinds of gigs...

hey Peta.....Looks like a great opportunity coming to good effect. This thumbnail grabbed my eye right away and I was not disappointed in the larger version at all, in fact it is a super shot. I will have to take a boo at your other images as well.

And yes, you can capture "decent" photographs, way more than dectent, how about spectacular, this is proven by your excellent body of work here on UF.
