Thanks for your comment on this picture Richard. Looking forward to seeing more of your pin up work in the future. I have been lucky to work with some wonderful models in the short time I have been doing photo shoots and these two models were simply wonderful to work with. I am hoping two work with them along with a few other retro models in the future.

Ya know...if you became a Usefilm donor, you could upload up to four images each day, ending the wait for many of us. It's just $25 for a year, or a paltry 7 cents a day. ;)
In any case, I look forward to seeing more of this impeccible series, Clay.

Thanks for you comment Roger. I did go out a get a couple of studio umbrella lights and without a doubt they improved my pictures. I think I still need to get at least one more light for a backlight or to use for highlights.

Thanks for you comment Paul. This was my third attempt at a Poker / Pinup shoot and I think the 3rd time was a charm. I have a couple of more pinup shoots upcomming.

Thanks for you comment D. At the time we were shooting we were just trying different poses with the cards but I'm glad they came out with the "Vargas" look.

Hey White,
The two models I did the pinup shoot with could pass for sisters but they are not related, but they both are into the retro look. Working with the both of them made it one of my most enjoyable shoots.

Thanks for you comment Jack. I was just a child when the "Vargas" girls were in Playboy on a regular basis. But I do remember seeing them in Playboys from the '60's when I got older.

Clay, this photo reminds me of the old "Vargas" paintings from the 50's which were clasics.
I think you did good to capture that style.
