It’s not about panoramic shooting. A panorama is a long image. A rectangularly cropped one image is a panorama. A stitched square image is a stitched square image. It may be very large but it’s not a panorama. Autopano pro (and others) helps us feel free from waiting for a camera manufactures to produce more MP cameras. 10 MP Nikon is OK for me now. That forest pic is 6036 x 5037 (30.4 MP). I spend 1 min and 12 sec for shooting 12 images. That’s not much. And I don’t care about megapixels. If I need many, I make them. I don’t care about the angle of shooting. Be it 90 degrees or 180 or 360 – anything is possible. I am free! And it’s a wonderful feeling!

Oh but it's such a sad scene...lonely trees that don't see the light..their sole comfort being enveloped by soft green moss that keeps them warm from the last of the winter snow....
Good stitching though, as always!!
