You're absolutely right. I will have to devise a system where I have more control over the shot. The very shallow DOF does not help keeping the sharpness all around, I did other shots at a higher f/stop, I will see what can I dig out...

Warm and pleasant rendering, Francisco! My eyes do yearn for some more sharpness on the anthers, perhaps possible with a slight focus change and selective sharpening.
