Yes, the original is a bit blurry. It doesn't look so blurry from the thumbnail, but the large version has a cartoon chunkiness to it. When you altered the image you brought out that effect. Perhaps you could take that even farther? I like to follow a thread as far as it can take me.

I think the photo has a sort of pop art effect -- and it works well. I know what you mean about prefering a more "old fashioned" approach. But I think the image is definitely way cool.

Shirley, you know me, this was for the modern girls, I do prefer original blurry classical version of mine ... comes from my nature and heart :) ... the red version has a story behind, so I had to do this, listening to my heart :)
Do not ever look at red version my Dear, I forbit you that ! ;)

My dear Jan, thanks for your understanding my nature...that means so much to me...and I do like photos with the story behind as you know so I listen my heart as you already know :) Maybe I am to much idealistic or romantic or dreamful, but that is what comes from my nature and my mind and my soul and heart !!! That is who am I in the world of photography :) ... in real life the most of the time I have to be very realistic and with two legs on the land ... here I can be who I realy am :)
