About Some may view this as raw materials some may not. IMO it is as this is where you start to get any materials!

Mike,

Wonderful comp, DOF, framing with the lens and sharpness, not to mention the colors... ;)

The only critique I have is, that Timothy never said "Money is the Root of all Evil"!

1 Timothy 6:10,

"For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, the have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows"...

All Biblical verses depicted in this letter were borrowed from the King James Version of the Holy Bible

Get it straight my brother,

Martin

I like this shot too -- creative viewpoint on raw materials. Boy, that Doyle sure is a philosopher -- clever response.

Good point Doyle.
I thought this was a fitting title as the desire for money IMO would be hard to capture.

Thanks for the comment. Always good to hear from you!

Nice creative interpretation to the project Mike. By the way . . . the root of all evil is not money . . . although often it is the lack of money and / or the desire for it. :)

Doyle I <~~~~~

Have I shot one with all the bills facomg the same way? No. Not at thsi time. I didn't realize that I had done this until I cropped and posted it.
All of the other shots are very similar to this with the direction of the bills goign willy nilly!
Funny that you say that about the colors. Ever since we have gone to this new "anti-counterfit" money that has different colors, other than just the drab green, most of the people I know have complained as it looks to much like monopoly money.
It is actually a really good idea to have the different bills different colros so you can easily glance in your wallet/pocketbook and be able to tell how big a purchase you can afford!

Thanks for the comment and causing me some critical thinking!

Heh, the root of all evil... all I could think about when I saw those new 20's with the peach is how ugly they were. I wish the US would make different coloured bills like Canada has so I could tell the difference between a one and a ten. Anyway, I went off on a rant there. haha I like your photo. Have you tried taking the same one with the middle bill the proper way? (ie not flipped upside down)
