About After I returned from a trip I made to Bosnia in March 2006, I set out to educate myself about the war on women. These images are not a statement, but rather my representation of the visceral feelings and empathy
I have surrounding the subject.

Hi Syrie,

Excellent portrait !

Great composition, with those nice diagonal lightfall. Perfect tones also. Bosnia is in the mean time known as place not to be...

"War on women", I hope it did not damage you.
Simply, a perfect portrait. Great tones and very nice crop.

Wish you and yours all the best,
Albert Jacobs :)

Beautiful light and silhouette here. The explanation gives it even more poignant depth.

I find all three of the images in this series (so far) to be very disturbing (for some reason the first image especially so), which is how it should be. Thanks for sharing both your motives and images with us.
Regards, Gary

Syrie:

The entire series, what I have seen of it is superb. This particular image can stand on it's own without explanation. This image is simply another addition to a very powerful portfolio that should serve as inspiration to all of us. Very well done once again.

Nice play of light and shadows, having the model in the shadows and underexposed is not an accident, it's a reflexion of the circumstances of the victim.

Well done again.

Cheers!

Francisco
