Hello Simone, I haven't used the 1.4x for long time, first because i don't really needed 280mm in most cases, it's not that big difference with 200mm .. and it does make some shots more soft in focus .. so a sharp shot at 200mm or a soft one at 280mm .. the choice is rapidly made.. so i sold the 1.4x ..
And yes, the Sigma 10-20 is the other candidate, glad i heared your opinion about it, another point for Sigma ;-)

Thanks Peter. The 70-200 F/4 L is my latest purchase. It's another great lense, the better I have in quality. How does it work with canon 1.4x? I see you have both ones. Bye Simone

Sono una meraviglia tutti questi strati di colline che si susseguono con diverse sfumature, mentre l'alberello solitario in primo piano sembra lì ad ammirare il paesaggio. Ciao Barbara
