On Top of the world you could say to this picture, at least that is how I would feel if I was ever in this splendid location. Nick this shot is awsome and breeds class all over it, it's the best example that when you put some effort into achieving something you are often pleasently surprised. I absolutelly love your work Nick!
Thank you for commenting on my portfilios too, your comments are very much appreciated.
All the best my friend,

It's not very hard to do, Angela! You just hold your breath until you are down again ;-)
No, seriously now, it was about 3100m (10000ft) but the air starts getting too thin for breathing much higher. At about 4500m (15oooft) you notice the difference when you do something tiresome. And the real problems start at 5000-6000m (16000-20000ft) of course according to one's health/constitution.
Many thanks for the comment and best wishes,
Nick

Thank you very much for the nice words, Ralf! (And excuse me for writing your name with "ph" in the previous messages. The new orthography has many strange results in my head ;-))
Best wishes,
Nick
