Thanks AJ. Cross polarising is when you use two polarisers, with your subject in between. I used one polariser on the camera and placed one on a lightbox with the forks lying on top. Unfortunately I don't have a very big polarizer so I couldn't fit all of the forks on. You really need a much larger one for the lightbox. Mine's only 72mm. Hope this helps. Cheers, Ann.

Very effective result, Ann! I've had a go at this, but I am notoriously tough on polarisers, so rarely have one that works properly....or at least one that isn't broken....let alone two...
