Dear Gerhard THank you very much for the info. Now I can enjot the image in another way. One never knows because of the massive cruelty towards both animals and people in the world, so I´m relieved now:-)Have a nice weekend Annemette

Hello dear Annemette, sincere thanks to for your comment and the interest in my picture. It is no normal animal. It is an Atrappe to the hindu Cremation of a deceased. Here the mortal remnants are put into the animal out of textile and wood and are burned on a special place. The Balinese believes that then first the soul can be redeemed. Sincerely Gerhard

What is that? Hopefully not an animal being burnt alive!! A very spooky image that makes me upset, but I hope my eyes are deceiving me, and that this is a toy or an already dead animal. Best wishes Annemette
