Very nice still life. You placed just enough jewlery as to not be too busy but yet want to see the whole picture. You captured the sheen off the gold wonderfully. Great lighting and detail.

Tis is very beautifully shot and processed and you should try some more with those objects that you say you are hoarding! I love still life compositions and when it comes to jewelry....WOW! This is a favourite!

LOL Jan... When desperate, I look closer to home... :) Heaven knows I'm a hoarder, so, plenty of inanimate objects... Only trouble is at moment packing to move in a couple of months, most of the knick-knack things are packed already...
Texture is always a biggie for me, I like shadows... Just getting the right light and angle without to much reflection, but enough depth to the amber colours worked ok...:)

The texture and color depth are what this one is all about, in my mind. It is wonderful that you can run out of things to photograph and still come up with this. Well done and pleasing to the eye.
