Hi JD , Wow! Thank You so much for your kind comment my friend ! I do like your intense speia re-post very much.. it looks just a bit pale pink-ish and I really like it. No way ...You are never meddling with my images .. I appreciate it.
I was gone a couple days and I found a NikkonD40 camera !! My first DLSR Yahoooo!
I'm so excited... I can maybe shoot at the moon one night !!

I left town for a few days to buy a NEW CAMERA riny !!! I am sooo ecxcited ... I finally got a Nikkon D40 ... I've wanted one for ever it seems!! Now I have a whole new world to explore, and to learn... my old camera did alright but nothing like this DSLR !!!

This one is good, but the arrangement of the petals is not perfect.. you need to be very skeptical while shooting.. he he.. hope I did not scare you !! :)

When I get back I'll step inito an entirely New World and in many ways be starting all over again !! but I can't wait.. won't be back until Monday afternoon!!! I am soo excited !!

Beautiful!! Michele - you can't adjust using curves without PS or Elements . . . but the contrast here COULD be improved! Be cautious increasing the contrast as it will increase hot spots (pure white with no detail) but used lightly you can often get an image to 'pop' better. Also . . . try to get at least 3 feet behind your subject to blur it out - use macro or portrait settings on auto to get a shallower DOF . . .
First try? Beautiful and very impressive. I alos changed the light a tad . . . for you to look at . . . and would not agree about the suggested color sat changes . . . the only color change I did was decrease the blue . . .
Looking good my friend . . . love the soft, delicate texture and the comp both!

Wonderful change up young lady... I did play about some what. The file size is so small you probably won't be able to tell what I did, so I'll tell ya... ;)
Just popped the yellow to +55 and the red to +51, then increased the contrast to about +21 and decreased the brightness to about -21...

Hi Michele..
Beautiful flower but the contrast level is too low hence no pop,it looks very dull.Try doing a levels and a contrast/brightness adjustments.One
more thing I love my flowers with water droplets!!
And if I really picky soften too.LOL!!!
But this is your image if that`s what you like it to be STAND UP FOR YOUR RIGHTS!!!!
I know i`m the crazy guy.
