The warm seasons that confuses them... could as well be! I didn't think of that until now!
Anyway, what else could I give somebody to drink that looks like Johnny Rotten? ;-)

Haha yes what a punker! Yes, they are sympathetic creatures with their own personailty. Glad that youīve helped some of these fellows to live throughout the winter. Maybe they couldnīt find a good shelter, or maybe the season being more warm confuses them. Wine? Better not supply them with whisky though ;-) Annemette

Oh, now I know! The punk of an animal, isn't it? ;-)
I also had often to do with them in winter. Some of them seemed to have "forgotten" to fall in their winter sleep and so I had to help them getting though the cold times alive. Some of them, very sympathetic, really! They seemed to like grapes a lot - and wine also! ;-)
Take care too,
Nick

A porcupine is the small animal that roam the gardens at night with its spiky protection;-) I once saved one from a fire that was feeling mighty bad. I cooled it with water in the face and on the legs as I would do with a dog which made it wake up, I dug up worms for it that it ate and kept it in a shelter until it was fresh. It looked at me while I carried it down the garden and released it not being scared but rather being curious and secure. A privilege having this experience. Oh it IS snow! Thanks for letting me know. Take care Annemette

Porcupines? What is this? :-/
Anyway, many thanks for the nice comment and just for the record, the small flowers are red and the white color comes indeed from just a little snow on them.
Take care,
Nick

I thought it was mating porcupines*LOL* I havenīt seen this kind of plant before. Very unusual to look at as the flowers might as well could have been mistaken for snow. Best wishes Annemette
