This shot was an experiment with the extremely short depth-of-field offered by my new f/1.2 prime lens. Shot at max aperture I was able to isolate about 1.5 inches of depth in the long piano keyboard shot.
This is one of my first shots through my new Canon 85mm f/1.2 L prime lens. It's the first prime lens I've used in modern times and also my first time with Canon "L" glass. All I can say is: wow. I'll be posting more shots with it soon, but I must say that the clarity, sharpness, color, contrast and drop dead gorgeous bokeh have knocked me off my feet. The price is ridiculously high for this lens, but...
I should say that Canon doen't play with lenses. I still didn't try it but I can guess how does it work. Also I like the subject. I think it's perfect for these kind of experiments.
