Well taken John - I like the monocolour effect. Well composed with the bystander cheering it on!I agree that the thumbnail is misleading. Regards. Joggie

Excellent image dear John. I too thought this was a bird that had died.. but I was glad to read you don't shot dead animals ..Then the image looked different after you wrote about it, and I READ IT !! I do like the title , and the other dove looking, it's an excellent composition !! Michele~

Hey, dear Emgy, really looks like that, not just the wing but mostly the head and for a so tight cropped frame it is very difficult for the watcher to see a....castle's wall...it could normaly being the ground, only the angle - point of view gives that the bird is about 8 meters higher than me. Hugs

Yes dear James, looks like, the pose and the head angle gives that idea but that bird was higher than me so that angle on the wall....the wall looks tilt because of the lower point of view in soft perspective, that shot taken on 300mm.

Great capture. He does look dead, doesn't he. The thumbnail really doesn't do this shot justice. Very rewarding upon seeing the large image.

Hallo dear Emgy....no the bird is fine, that is a wall, it try to ballance on it so not fall....its a funny image really! It's about 1/2sec after landing on the castle's wall so that funny pose. :-)
