About I'm not sure what kind of spider this is, but it was among the largest ones that I've ever seen. He was quite busy building his web. Anyone know what it is? Photographed on October 15 2006 with my macro lens hand held at ISO 400.

Incredible detail. I can almost see the motion of his legs and the web being constructed. It always amazing me how spiders do build these fragile, yet strong webs. Terrific shot. I don't know what kind of spider this is.
