About The only time I've seen this phenomenon. The original color slide has a weird color cast, so I converted to B&W.

serenely odd and beautiful. feels very unreal given the angle but given the backdrop fits in wildly.

I always think the sight of the sun's rays peering out from beneath clouds look wonderful but this vertical shaft of light well away from the sun is most intriguing in quite breathtaking. The whole composition looks great in this well converted to mono toned shot but it is that most unusual spectacle that makes the composition. Well seen and captured my dear Shirley.....Cheers sweetie.....Ray;)

Wow, then really well done.
I hope I will be lucky as much as you are in taking these natural phenomenons.

All the bests,

dear Shirley,
This one has very beautiful perspective to my eyes.Well done.
I have only one very little question ^_^.
I cn see a vertical light from the sky to the sea surface, in the first left, one third of the frame.
Was that really there, it's a reflection ?

Because you know, that has given a very good depth to the whole proportion.

as usual , thanks again for sharing this shot with us,

Your student,
Ardalan.
