Heeeey, I just now saw this. If I didn't know any better I would think this was directed (almost dedicated)at SOMEONE in particular! Of course, the first line in your about DOES say "for ALL you UFers" which lets you off the hook...nah, I know you! You are SO baaaaaad!
If I could afford to hire someone to come in and cover your yard with snow while you were sleeping, I would do it in a New York minute! I'd have to enlist Marlyce's help though, someone would have to capture that priceless moment...oh, what I would give to be independently wealthy for just a little while!!! (Hi Doyle!)

Thanks Michele . . . we have the Summer season . . . the fire season . . . the flood season . . . and back to the summer season. The floods usually end the fires. Two BIGGO fires yesterday . . . but nothing threatening us! Still - flood season is a'comin'! We had some sprinkles a couple of weeks ago and (I swear) . . . the news weather had a "Stormwatch" graphic!!! Insane population here . . . and . . . uhhhhhhhh . . . I assume that doesn't (necessarily) include me!! LoL! And local UFer Lisa Greget is exempt 'cause she's kinda' cool. (Hi Lisa!)

The weather report is ......C~a~Razy ~ but this image is very good. The little vibrating bird soooo C L E A R .. A+ for clarity. The DOF so oooo nice .. and the point of view 'Clarified'.
A lovely composition full of wonderful Ca. Sun.. and

Thanks Jessie . . . these cactus florals are at the end of my driveway. Apparently . . . the little guy more or less waits for me to arrive home from work as a sheduled feeding time (one of many) and his ruby-throated friend has avoided me very well whenever I have my camera. I suspect he comes by VERY frequently . . . but somewhat routinely. They NEVER seem to show while I wait for them . . . but they're in NO hurry to leave if I find them there already. :)

I confess to being baaaaaad . . . but my lifestyle POV is to find the good in every opportunity and . . . uhhhhhhh . . . well . . . to just enjoy the ever-lovin' HECK outta' life! And it WAS so warm last night we had a B-B-Q in the dark under the Christmas lights (Marlyce put Christmas lights on her cactus - LoL!). Appreciate the comment. We went to San Pedro to shoot the Boat Christmas Parade . . . whew - what a challenge! Hoping all is well with you my friend!

I read your comments to Robin....you's just plain wicked boy  . I left my 'commiserations' to you against Robin's posting. I'm still sobbing my heart out for you my dear Doyle, goodness knows how long it will take for me to get over the shock of those aweful adverse weather conditions you have to put up with at this time of year
Another lovely shot of a hummer with beak and tongue inserted in the beauty of that flower. Amazing capture of the wing movements which are still a blur even at 1/500. Doesn't seem like summer at all or anything close to it other than the cold nights which is a warm day for most states.
