About
Whilst on the Colorado River in May 2005 the group that I was with (60 other photographers) walked through this small "keyhole". I couldn't understand why no one else saw this lovely image. Their mission was to explore Anazazi Indian Ruins. I can say that whilst the ruins were interesting from an historical viewpoint I was blessed with the interesting photo - well I think so. Many people have remarked on how much they like this when they see the print. Please, I welcome all comments
Thanks for your comment Laurie. I kind of like this as it somewhat different to my traditional landscape. One thing I learnt on that trip with 60 photographers is that there is always "your" unique perspective. The other thing I learnt is not to take tours because they cramp your style. Always the tour guide is saying " keep up, come on, we have to go now". Having said that I did take a tour for 2 weeks in Morocco and as a first time visitor to that country it was a wise decision but if I go back I would do more trips by myself - tours are a good introduction but nothing quite the same as discovering on your own. In March I am of to Vietnam - on a tour - hahha - for 2 weeks but I have a feeling I will go back and have a good look around by myself without the constraints of a tour guide - have a care - do you want to email me at dtasker@netspace.net.au Thanks David T
