I really like your result (except the white drops/spots or whatever it is on the LHS and the two stripes in the lower RHS). I'm surprised about the grain you've got with such a low speed film. Or is that PS? The interesting question is I guess which effect comes from Diana and what comes from the x-processing. Did you do the overexposing in the camera or in the lab? I read there is a big difference, too. Some do 1 stop in the camera and 1 stop in the lab.
I've recently desided to explore the x-processing, myself and have currently some roll of Fuji 100 negative film in the lab. I tried to leave as many parameter (film, camera, subject) as possible constant to see what I get from the x-processing. I choose the negative film because I think/hope that the lab can't do any color correction during the E6.
Anyway! I hope my results are as good as yours! Carlheinz

Hey I've come across some of your forum writings and had to check out your reviews. I have not seen hardly anyone that writes with such passion and conviction. You certainly take your time and look at the work. Thats great. Too bad more people don't do this. And yeah Art & Fear is a excellent book.

Oooh... Don't know if you're disappointed or not but, as far as I'm concerned, I like the result... The problem would be to be sure to get the same effect the next time you try that process ?!
Anyway... Pushing the limits always gives something interesting !!! Even if it's by accident/chance... It's really inspiring sometimes... Just like this time !

From what I've heard about x-processing people usually adjust the colours/tones so that skin looks normal. I don't know whehter your lab did that but I'd guess so.

Don't know those tecniques...
Don't like the white lines under the arm, distracts i guess... nice anyway.
