Very pretty image, and creative technique. I usually am drawn to higher contrast photos but I agree that the flatness and softness that your layering technique has added really works better with this delicate face and hair. The drama is in the intensity of the blue.

Thank very much, Paul! I believe what you are seeing is from the selective layering of the color with the B&W version. I wanted it to have a very delicate look, except for the intensity of the blue eye and heart of the peacock feather.

Nice technique. When you do that, be mindful that you need to boost contrast in post, as the nylon robs quite a bit of it.
