Excellnt detail and colour on the lizzard Ann - really a great shot. Must say I prefer it without the moon which I find a bit distracting. Nonetheless a great image! Congrats on the SC!! Very well deserved!

Thanks, AJ. Actually I agree with you, which is why I softened the moon a bit. Ideally I would have liked to have had a full length pic of the lizard on the branch with more space around it and then added the moon but I only took the close-up. Also I put down the wrong lens. I actually used the Canon kit lens 18-55. The Iguana was behind glass at the Melbourne Zoo and the lighting was a mixture of fluro and tungsten so I had a lot of colour correcting to do. Cheers, Ann.

What an incredible macro! I like the idea of the moon, though find it crowds the image a little, although the softness helps overcome this somewhat. Anyway, the Staff obviously don't agree with me - congrats on the SC!

I like the idea of the composite. Green iguanas by themself are a good photo subject but the dark sky and the moon capped this award winning shot!
