I've made many attempts at something similar to this. Never got it quite right. Nice to know it is possible. I'm betting you did go through quite a few bubbles. Congrats on this.

Thought it was a photoshop creation. The fact that it actually was part of the world as we know it makes it more valid in my view. Not sure I like the central framing. Lack of a binocular view seems to detract from the human 3D view.
