You captured some amazing moods here. The sky alone can be looked at for the variety of tones that you have captured. Excellent shot. Congrats on the award. Regards Ron.

niesamowite Andrzej!

Outstanding shot. Everything is perfectly in place. Really very moody and intiguing photograph with carefully chosen colours, and with great tonal range. In my opinion this is a flag ship of this erie series.

Thanks to all commented here, at this point I don't even know what is better and more awarded - is it a fact of receiving recognition or the post award comments.
An important fact to note here is that we all learn from the site, we learn what is important what is appreciated what style fits to the community. I feel like I went through this path to understand things better.
Thanks for your comments and all the critique in particular.
Cheers, NJ

What a great job you have done with this second in the series Andrzej!
Congrats on the BIP for this one! Now... where do you go from here with #3?
As you know, I love this kind of toned image and I'm hoping the third in the series will follow a similar format.
I always get a kick out of seeing people in my "friends" box get an award. It is always a nice feeling to be recognized by your peers :)

The white railings of the pier and the crests of the waves lead the eyes to an hopefull clear horizon contrasting the threatening dim sky. Great atmosphere here too, Andrzey.
Have a serene weekend.

Kevin, I have checked the picture with the rule of thirds greed and everything is perfectly on, I know that it's not always the best idea to stick to rules and I often ignore it but for this scene I guess it's the best division to balance the composition.
Thanks for very analytical critique - always appreciate. Cheers, NJ

Dramatic sky detail, and the seagulls totally make this a standout image. The toning makes perfect sense - the only thing I would do is maybe try cropping up the bottom a little more - just slightly, to the point of the division on the side of the walkway. This is just to bring the horizon down a little further to try to completely maximize the dynamism of the composition. All in all, it's a very minor tweak that might not work because that division would be leading out-of-frame, but it's something I'd consider.

Excellent composition of these very dramatic skies and waves, Andrzej! I like the toning you've used here as well, it really suits the image.
Dave.
