Ahhhh...that I mean when I say a small studio for these photos, the black is the ultimate background, makes the water details and...bobbles looks so impressive... yea, a lemmon into water but it also looks like you drop big drops on it...the oposite! Fantastic! Ilie ice in air!

Thanks Doyle. I did loads of these last summer and wanted to see how the Nikon would cope. But ultimately it's not the machine that was limiting the results, but the lack of a FISH TANK! They cost nothing in Warsaw (where I've got no space) but a fortune in Tarifa (where I want to do the shots).
No fill flash because the rounded vase I was using caused nasty reflections. When I eventually get the fish tank, side lighting and silver foil will do the business.

Wow . . . great creativity. Cool idea . . . next try carbonated tonic water . . . Then, after the shot, add Gin and drink the evidence! LoL! Fixed side lighting and no fill flash? Good stuff!
