... try and explain that to the hundreds of poor kids who live around my area. deprived of anything good in life because the other kids in richer areas are the one's who absorb all the government funding.
they go to shi!ty schools, they live in shi!ty homes, there's no parks or recreational areas around here for them to play or do anything.
i have been living here for more than a quarter of a century so i am allowed to pass judgement.
to be ambitious and have determination you must have already had a 'taste' of where you want to be in life, i can guarantee you that no one from my area has ever experienced the "good life" in the "lucky country" and sadly, will probably never will.

Lucky indeed - for those with ambition and determination.

Cheer up; things are likely to get better or worse but not likely to stay the same.

thanx Jan!
yeah, seems that way these days .... i am bored by the majority of people around me because they do the same repetetive things. that stuff probably occurs on your neck of the woods also so i shouldn't elaborate too much. i live in one of the poorest municipal regions of Melbourne. no one gets anywhere in life in my area .... it's quite disheartening to see the next generation of thugs and hoodlums run havoc in my area, because history has taught me from the generation of past that these people don't get anywhere in life.
LOL - this is the "LUCKY COUNTRY" apparantly, i think not.
