Shirley, I wish I was there too! Nature is wonderful. It seems that everything fits in this picture, the horizon, the clouds, the splash of the big wave! But even greater is the photographer who is able technically to put this in such a nice image!

Such awesome colors, I love the white of the crashing wave with the orange clouds in the background. I can almost feel your anticipation through breakfast. What a great shot and I'm not surprised it is a marketable photograph.

I am torn between the monochromatic version and the main post my dear Shirley. Either way they are both awesome.....AWESOME! The power of nature is so spectacular at times and it is truely rewarding when we are able to capture a scene like this. Your patience paid off here sweetie, it is a superb seascape study. This is a spectacular splash. I like the way you have captured the secondary horizontal forces in the splash. These add detail in an image that might otherwise look a little flat - perhaps due to scanning and uploading? (Or maybe it's just me.) I also like the way you've got the water pouring over the rocks. I can imagine I would spend hours watching at a location like this!
