About A series of three shots working on the best way to display the San Francisco Skyline . . . Sepia, B&W, and full color. Shot from a window 52 stories above the city . . . and incorporating some helpful suggestions from Sam Graziano III . . .

I'm interested in knowing which works best . . . #2 and #3 are the same shots, with and without color (adjusting midtones, light and contrast as needed -- of course) . . . #1 is a different shot . . . entirely.

View from the Carnelian Room in the Bank of America Building.

Wow I missed these - and this one I like the best out of all 3...what an awesome shot! Not that you had in mind of making a postcard shot probably but it's the sort of image a tourist would want to buy! Very well captured. Yay for you!

Just wondering...

This one, this one!!! Again, it has that old postcard feel to it that I love in your images. You use of dof to create a 'goes on forever' feel is amazing. Brilliant shot Doyle,
cheers, Bek:)

Doyle, I do like this one very much, however, I must admit, I have a preference for the colour version! That is taking nothing away from this image - it is still very good!

Cheers

Dear Doyle
It“s hard to say which one is the best. This one was nonetheless the one that appealed the most to me. I like the angle, sepiatones that gives the city a special rustic atmosphere and the way you got S.F. look like it“s lying there in the middle of the world with ships passing around it is just excellent. Good work as always!:-)
Best wishes,
Annemette

I thought you were referring to previous posts...oy! Even after viewing the PROPER images, my vote still stands...all three are great, but I'm a sucker for sepia!
Take care...Robin

(for some reason, after typing sucker for sepia, the Cocoa Puff bird popped into my head...sucker for sepia, cuckoo for cocoa puffs???)
