About Had some hot and sunny weather last week, so took the kids to the beach.

1st in a series of 4. Basically just family happy snaps, but presented a little differently to hopefully add appeal for all.

Forgot to clean my ccd, so had to try smaller f numbers so they wouldn't show...

Yup, we're into Spring now. But don't let that fine weather fool you, it was only momentary. Bloody miserable again now...

Top O' the line composition here Rina . . . Your family "Snapshot" (your words--not mine) with a pano twist. Very cool!

OK I've got a handle on this one.....your son has his back turned on the girls and the blonde has suggested 'let's hide in the sea' am I right or am I right:) :) Nice shot of your youngest my sweet Rina and I love the angle of his walk as he strides towards you.

Four great family shots and all with lovely rich colour tones and fun aspects to the scenarios. Well done sweet Rina......catch....XXXX...hmmn, lovely....'See' you again soon. Best wishes as always....RayXXXX;)

way to go,Cookie!...this is so cool with your son coming toward you at a slight angle...i like that his trumpet is "tapping" barbie..LOL...gives it a superhero bigger than life look to him!...good lens choice and i like the wide format, too

now,am confused about your weather...thought it was cold and wintery there...has that passed and you are now into Spring? :)
cheers,gayle

Cheers Andre, this is my fav of the bunch. Yeah, I guess if blondie didn't have legs going up to her shoulders, there may just well have been some space there! Thanks for the comments, always great to get your feedback :)

Hi Rina,
I'm liking this one best of the four. I suppose it's the bold positioning of your son with the trumpet that makes the shot. One small picky thing.... It's a shame about the girl's head being directly under the yellow trumpet. Even just a little space between them would have made a big difference.

Yeah, not too shabby a piece of glass, eh? Too bad I've got some god awful halo-ing happening that's driving me nuts. Very noticable along my son's left side. Don't know if it's the ccd or the choices I'm making :( Thanks for swinging by, pleasure to hear from you!

Hi Rina, great work - especially the composition. The wide angle shows off the calm and relaxing scenery very well. The child coming towards the lens adds the perfect touch to this photo IMO. Is this with the DA 18-55? Works excellent for a "kit" lens.
