About I found this girl just outside the Skardu area, and as soon as I positioned my camera to take her pic, she froze, I took a good 5 pics and in all of the pics, she just stood frozen, either she was taken aback by the sudden photography session, or she was actually posing. Either way, it came out good for me. Baltis (Residents of Skardu) are known for their hospitality and their friendliness with the tourists.
Thanks for visiting.

She is a great model regardless of whether is was posing or surprise. The lighting is great and the background sky frame and emphasize this young beauty so well. It is a picture that makes one take notice.

This is a gem. In my experience children can often be hard to capture, turning very quickly to being self-conscious - but I'd rather a frozen pose than a turned away head. She looks a little scared of the camera but in situations like this you have to just do your best to capture the moment. She's just being herself placed in an unusual situation, not sure what's expected of her. You were so lucky to have that sky as a backdrop too.
Regards, Gary
