Joggie, I did not consciously split the frame at the midpoint. I tried various framings with more or less foreground and chose less foreground as the best option. Your remarks are appreciated and I will have to think about the equal split issue! How is your test of the R1C1 progressing? I decided that I need more working distance for my macro attempts than I can achieve with my 60mm. My 105mm is a G series and is, therefore, useless with the Panagor. I am looking at a Sigma 180mm to use with the Panagor - considerably more affordable than the Nikon 200mm. Any experience with the Sigma macros? Eb

Superb clarity and crispness of colour Eb. Interesting, your aproach to emphasize the clear blue sky by splitting the frame in two equal halves with the band of clouds. I'm not sure if I like it - keep looking for more of the interesting landscape . . (but thats a personal, subjective taste). Nonetheless a great image. Regards. Joggie
