Thanks for the information Alex, I think that its great that the traditions are being kept as its important to remember where we came from to give something to hold on to in this fast moving world.

Thank you, Bruce, for your comment. Those hut like things are nothing more than piles(heaps) of withered grass. In Romania (and not only Romania) when grass grows tall, people come and scythe it. They let it dry in the sun, and after 1 or 2 days they pile it up like you saw in the picture. When the winter comes they use it to feed animals (cows, horses, sheep etc.) To me, they represent a continuity of my people's tradition, a marker that demonstrates, we (romanians) have lived on these lands for a very very long time.

The museum-town is actually an ex-fabric (textile/carpet/rug) factory. When Poland gat into UE the owners realised that thet\y would not be able to keep up with the other UE textile factories. So they turned it into a museum. The factory itself is so large that they called it the museum-town. I'm glad to hear you liked Romania. It is, indeed a very beautiful country. Too bad that tourists destroy it... I would like to hear more about your work. I think it's fascinating. All the best. Alex

Very lovely Alex, good details in the trees which can often be underexposed in these sort of photos. Very nice colours too, beautiful scene.
What are those hut like things?
