About East coast of NSW, Haycock Beach... A very warm day, lots of glare from clouds, sand and water... I liked the bark on the tree, the way all the textures from coastal grasses to sand to water to clouds to rocks... ~grin~... I know to many to's, but that is exactly the feeling it gave... Natures fabric...

great composition just watch the horizon.. water's a killer for that and I reckon I would have pulled down the levels on the RHS a bit..just to reduce the glare

Hi Rebecca... Thank you for viewing If I remember it right... A storm hadn't long gone through and the tree beside had snapped... :)

Thanks Peter... :) When near the sea, that salty, gritty smell of the air and the way coastal weather affects the landscape and flora, great for all the senses...

Leonie I really like how you pull up detail in the foreground to give the image a feel, I tend to do the same thing to put the body of the image in context, I can feel the warmth and smell the bark...well seen.

Peter.

Nice composition Leonie, looks like the tree is about to keel over! The angle of it tends to lead the eye through the photo and out to sea. Lovely beach scene, R
