About
I haven't posted in a couple of weeks because of PhotoshopWorld and trying to catch-up on my work. At PhotoshopWorld I learned more about HDR from Jack Davis and I thought I would dig through my files to find something that might work well with the technique. Hence, this image.
I went to Arcosanti last year with my artist friend Michael. We took lots of photos of the architecture but I was most impressed with the interesting landscape behind the architecture. This is a little canyon that is just behind the interesting Arcosanti complex (here in AZ). If you've never heard of Arcosanti, do a Google search on it. Very interesting place and inspiring archetecture. Naturally, while everyone else is taking pictures of the buildings, I'm shooting the landscape. :o)
Hope you like this. Comments are always welcomed. ~ Warm regards, Rocky
This looks like Gods country, I love eveything about this picture, looks like sharp, great detail and clairty, the light looks perfect to me. Excellent job.
Gorgeous Southwestern landscape Rocky, very nice light and composition. Lovely depth, beautiful reds and greens...very nice sharpness throughout the image with excellent clarity...beautiful work as always. I don't know a lot about HDR so I can't comment on that, but this is a lovely image...I like the play of light and shadow and the little tree perfectly placed in the top right third...well done..big hugs..Linda
